West Art Now creativity and art in Melbourne's West
Welcome to West Art Now, a blog about creativity and art in Melbourne’s west.
I’m a writer and content creator and I love living in Melbourne’s west. The longer I live here, the more I appreciate what’s great about it. It’s a culturally diverse and creatively abundant community where amazing stuff is happening all the time, sometimes where you least expect it.
West Art Now is heading out and about to bring you stories about the creative people of the west, from musicians to visual artists; animators and filmmakers, to dancers, furniture makers and everything in between.
It will also be a place where I will share my upcoming projects and finished work as We Start Now.
I look forward to sharing the stories of this rich creative community with you.
To kick us off I’ve started with a few of my own We Start Now projects: Gertrude children’s book, the artwork from the book we recently re-imagined for the refurbished children’s ward at Sunshine Hospital and artwork we created for local electro outfit, Nonagon, who I'll be interviewing soon. All were produced here in the west with my long time collaborator, Marc Eiden.
I hope you enjoy.
Until next time, happy reading!
